Aim and Scope

The IFISR is a non-profit organization that fosters high level research within the exact theoretical sciences. Particular emphasis lies on the scientific quality and interdisciplinarity of the projects.

One of the principal objectives is the promotion of research activities independent of traditional academic hierarchies and of geographical or political borders. Sole criteria are scientific soundness and importance.

Research is supported worldwide, regardless of location and institutional affiliations.

Currently, the IFISR is mainly founded by donations from private and other sources. The administration structure is kept at a minimum, so that almost all of the available financial means can be employed for scientific purposes. Maximal efficiency is combined with devotion.
